Forró Workshop with André Safadão at the Tea House
(For dancers with prior experience)
On June 7, André will offer a Forró workshop at the Tea House – a dynamic class tailored to the participants.
In 2005, André Safadão discovered Forró through his curiosity about Brazil – and ever since, this dance has been a constant in his life.
As a dancer, musician, and teacher, he has traveled the world – from Japan to the USA, Brazil, and many countries across Europe.
Six years ago, he began teaching Forró, bringing his enthusiasm and experience to students around the world.
Now based in Hamburg, he’s found a new home – a place where he wants to pass on and live his passion for this dance.

André Safadão entdeckte 2005 durch seine Neugier auf Brasilien den Forró – und seitdem begleitet ihn dieser Tanz durch sein Leben.Als Tänzer, Musiker und Lehrer war er weltweit unterwegs von Japan über die USA und Brasilien bis in viele Länder Europas.
Vor sechs Jahren begun er, Forró zu unterrichten und Menschen dafür zu begeistern. Nun ist Hamburg seine neue Heimat – ein Ort, wo er seine Leidenschaft weitergeben und teilen möchte
Am 7. Juni gibt André einen Forró-Workshop im Teehaus- eine dynamische Stunde, individuell auf die Teilnehmenden zugeschnitten.

To immediately practice our new skills, we will have an extra long time slot for free dancing directly after.
To participate in the intermediate classes, we recommend you have already completed Forró classes to fully benefit from the experience.

Shoes: Please take off your street shoes before entering the dance room, there is a changing room for this – please wear soft dancing shoes with light soles/socks or dance barefoot so that the dance floor stays as beautiful as it is.

Wir freuen uns wahnsinnig, dieses Jahr wieder Workshops mit Getúlio zu veranstalten! Wenn Du letztes Jahr dabei warrst, erinnerst du dich bestimmt an seine tolle Energie.
Um unsere neuen Skills direkt zu festigen, gibt es extra viel Zeit zum freien Tanzen im Anschluss.
Die Intermediate-Workshops eignen sich für Menschen, die bereits einen Forró-Tanzkurs besucht haben und eine neue Perspektive auf ihre Kenntnisse entwickeln möchten.

Schuhe: Straßenschuhe bitte vor dem Raum ausziehen, es gibt dafür eine Umkleide – bring bitte weiche Tanzschuhe/Socken mit oder tanze barfuß, damit der Tanzboden so schön bleibt wie er ist.
